Barefoot Self Drive:
Malawi & Zambia are the perfect countries for adventure holidays and self driving is a popular option to explore the country at your own leisure. Driving is on the left hand side of the road and you will need your valid driver’s licence. There is a choice of vehicles at your disposal depending on your routing and requirements. We will advise you on the best vehicle to use and assist you in planning your trip. We provide the necessary backup you need whilst in the country. This is part of our service package for our clients. Vehicle Hire Charges: Opel: · US$80 per day - 200km free km per day [Excess USD 0.40c per km] · 90% insurance - Excess US $1,800 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser with Air Conditioning & Power Steering · US$165 per day - 200km free per day [Excess USD 0.70c per km] · 90% insurance - Excess US $4,500 4x4 Fully Kitted Station Wagon – Land Rover Discovery · US$200 per day - 200km free per day [Excess USD 0.70c per km] · 90% insurance - Excess US$5,000 The Land Rover Discovery comes with Power Steering and is fully kitted with the following equipment: - · Rooftop tent and bedding for 2 people. · Full catering equipment inclusive gas cooker & gas light/ · Car fridge / freezer. · Water jerry can. · 2 off spare wheels.
NB: On all self drive hires we are able to advise you on a route and make the relevant reservations if required. All Vehicles are able to enter Zambia at no extra cost except for the relevant tolls and local 3rd party insurance. |
