The Cheetah Centre in South Africa was established in 1971, initially as a cheetah breeding project and the Centre has during the past 40 years bred over 800 cheetah cubs. African wildlife to be seen include lion, buffalo, cheetah, wild dog, hippo, crocodiles and South African antelope. Danielsrust Horse Trails traverse some of the last remaining big farms in Gauteng. Situated in the Kromdraai Conservancy, 40km northwest of Johannesburg, one can view over 600 head of game from horseback. Trails take you through the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, and you can visit the spectacular Wondercave Visit to a 2 billion-year-old Wonder Cave (optional).
