"We recently concluded the amazing trip through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe from July 26th to August 19th 2025 We would like to thank your organization for such a wonderful organized trip. Our guide Louis Lock was wonderful! He really added an extra dimension to our trip with his kindness, enthusiasm and knowledge about pretty much everything. Louis was very thoughtful and played an important part in the marriage proposal on top of Dune 45 in Namibia. He was so thoughtful to buy a bottle of Amarula beforehand to celebrate the engagement with the group. And even when confronted with lodges that were overbooked, we never had to worry that we wouldn't have a place to sleep. Louis took care of it and of us. When we will visit South(ern) Africa in the near future, we will definitely want Louis as our guide again!"

My wife and I had the time of our lives in South Africa, and Uganda from the rich wine country to the majestic Mountain Gorillas with all accommodations and travel guides extraordinaire. As just one example we asked our guide if he could arrange a local school visit (unplanned) and without hesitation he made arrangements for us to shop for school supplies and find a school that needed help for us to give back to the local community. We couldn't be happier and have already started talking about where to go next after we visit Morocco in 2021 and Bare Foot will be the first ones we call."

"Barefoot Safaris was excellent to work with from start to finish. We were heading to Namibia on another trip, and wanted to book an excursion at Etosha National Park before our other scheduled trip. They were very flexible and booked us an amazing, affordable excursion. When the other tour operator failed to respond to email and phone inquiries, Barefoot went way above and beyond to help us track them down and get our trip back on schedule.
